Choose a useful gateway, then walk locally

Kolkata Durga Puja pandals by Metro: station and route guide

A Metro station is best treated as an arrival gateway, not a guarantee that the pandal is beside the exit. Each Aaj Pujo listing shows the station, line and estimated walk only where that detail is maintained.

How to use the station list

Start with the part of Kolkata you want to cover and compare several nearby pandals served by the same station or line. Open the first destination in live transit navigation before leaving.

  • Check the line and interchange needed for both arrival and return
  • Allow extra time for queues, closed gates and one-way pedestrian controls
  • Use the walking estimate as a planning aid, not a live promise
  • Re-check special Puja service timings on the official Metro Railway site

Why the last kilometre matters

During Puja, the normal shortest route may be blocked or redirected. A station can still be the right gateway even when the final leg needs a bus, auto or a longer managed walk.
